The Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR 40) and general industry consensus has determined the need for a program providing collection personnel with the training to become proficient in urine specimen collection for drug testing in the work place. Such a program will aim to ensure that the collection is performed in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining confidentiality for the donor and security, integrity and control of the specimen.
Both the Laboratory staff and the staff of the Community Outreach Program have completed a DATIA (Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association) Approved Professional Collector Training Course. Drug Collections are provided both in-house and on-site as needed. Drug Collection and Breath Alcohol Testing Services are available Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30pm at the Warrens Walk In Clinic & Community Outreach. After hour collections available at Tomah Memorial Hospital.
