Live a Healthy, Fulfilling Life

Wellness is about more than the absence of illness and injury. It’s about living the best life you can live.

The National Wellness Institute defines wellness as “an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices toward, a more successful existence.

At Tomah Memorial Hospital, we want to help you make healthier choices by being your wellness resource. If you have suggestions on how we can better serve you, please let us know.

A Vein Care Patient Tells Her Story

“It has improved my quality of life and ability to keep doing my job.” – Pam

Listen to a patient’s firsthand account of her experience at Tomah Memorial.

Pam's life as a nurse has improved thanks to the expert care she received from the vein care specialists at Tomah Memorial Hospital. After years of spending so much time on her legs at work, Pam developed a painful vein condition. Dr. John Robertson, Tomah's board-certified surgeon recommended vein care, and Pam "can't believe how much better she feels."

Paul Dwyer: An Orthopedic Patient Tells his Story

“I can do things I haven’t done in 15 years!”

Listen to a patient’s firsthand account of knee replacement surgery and rehab at Tomah.

Paul credits his regained mobility to the expert care he received from the Orthopedic specialists at Tomah Memorial Hospital. After delivering milk in Tomah for nearly 26 years, Paul’s knees had become so painful that it was difficult to walk. Dr. Brucker and the Orthopedic team at Tomah Memorial performed double knee replacement surgery and rehab, and now Paul walks with ease.

SPECIAL FLU SHOT CLINICS  With a possible early start to this year’s flu season, the Warrens Clinic will offer special flu shot clinics every Tuesday and Friday throughout October and into November until Nov. 20. Flu shots will be available Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Fridays from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone six months of age and older. Officials say it takes about two weeks after vaccination for antibodies that protect against the flu to develop in the body. In addition to the seasonal flu shot, health care officials urge good hand washing and to stay away from others who are sick. If you are sick, consider staying home to prevent spreading flu to others.

Warrens Full-Service Clinic Offers:

  • Exceptional care for minor illnesses and injuries in the Tomah area
  • Certified physician assistants and family nurse practitioners
  • Technology linked to Tomah Memorial Hospital
