Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy services provide inpatient and outpatient treatment through the referral of a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
The department at our Hospital is a completely modern facility with a state-of-the-art line of equipment and modalities to address the various needs of our patients.
Staff in the department include physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and a secretary/receptionist. Educational background includes orthopaedics, sports medicine, neurological rehabilitation, industrial rehabilitation, geriatrics, pediatrics, wound care, vestibular rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment. Located in the lower level of the Hospital, the Physical Therapy Department has a gym with its equipment in an area with spacious windows where one can view beautiful Lake Tomah during the rehabilitation process.
The Physical Therapy Department participates in the STAR WORKS Program performing functional capacity evaluations, pre-work screens and functional job analysis, as well as work conditioning programs.
