Rehabilitation Services

Occupational Therapy

Skilled Occupational Therapy services are provided at Tomah Memorial Hospital. Registered Occupational Therapists are on staff and available to provide skills as requested by physicians. Educational backgrounds include hand / upper extremity rehabilitation, splinting / prosthetics, neurological rehab, therapeutic adaptations, cognitive training, women’s health, low vision and lymphedema training.

Inpatient Rehabilitation

Inpatient Rehabilitation consists of daily living training.  Simple tasks for a healthy person are challenges for a person who has a physical, neurological or orthopedic disorder. Tasks that are addressed include: bathing, dressing, grooming, home management skills and functional transfer training.  

Outpatient Rehabilitation

Outpatient Rehabilitation consists of skills and treatment for those with cumulative trauma, neurological or orthopedic disorders.  

Our Occupational Therapy department also participates in the STAR WORKS program, performing pre-employment screening and workstation assessments for businesses and industries.
