Pharmacy
The Pharmacy of Tomah Memorial Hospital works to provide quality services both to patients and family members as well as to the health care professional team caring for the patient.
Pharmacy provides services to all age groups including Newborns, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatric and Hospice patients. Pharmacy Services not only includes supplying appropriate medications to our patients, but also checking for appropriate doses for an age specific group, appropriate drug therapy, monitoring for food and drug interaction, monitoring for potential adverse drug reactions and appropriate timing of medication administration.
Pharmacy also provides services to our Emergency Department patients and Outpatient Clinic patients including Oncology, diagnostic Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Orthopaedics and Ear-Nose-Throat specialties.
Our Registered Pharmacist works with Pyxis, which is equipment that dispenses pharmacy items.
The Pharmacy is open in the Hospital seven days a week.
