Patient Care
Nutrition Services
Tomah Memorial Hospital has a registered dietitian, who is also a certified diabetes educator, available to provide nutrition education. Education can be provided for various nutritional concerns including diabetes, high cholesterol or blood pressure, or those wanting to lose weight for both patients in the Hospital and for those referred by their physician.
The dietician works with clients on making healthy food choices to fit their active lifestyles.
Healthy You
Healthy you is a weekly weight management support group for anyone interested in ongoing support. You do not have to have attended "Why Weight" in order to join "Healthy You." We discuss issues like stress management, body image, and what cues eating other than being hungry. The class generally lasts half an hour and is held at Tomah Memorial Hospital.
For more information about these programs or any of the services provided by Nutrition Services, please contact the department at (608) 374-0370.
