Laboratory Services
A Standard of Proficiency
Accurate and timely test results is the goal of Tomah Memorial Hospital Laboratory. Our Joint Commission accredited Laboratory Department is staffed by Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians, with consultative Pathology services available.
On-site diagnostic testing is available in the following areas:
- Hematology/Coagulation
- Chemistry/Urinalysis
- Blood Bank (Including Therapeutic Phlebotomy)
- Microbiology
Tests not performed on site will be sent to an accredited reference lab.
Laboratory outpatient services are available daily, 7 days a week.
Additional laboratory services provided include:
- Drug collections-DOT and non-Dot for Pre-employment, random, or post accident
- Employment drug screening
- Breathalyzer (BAT) Testing
- Laboratory Staff have completed a DATIA (Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association) approved Professional Collector Training Course.
